GenChemDrill™ by Swift Mart LLC · Effective October 30, 2026 · Last updated November 5, 2026
This explains what GenChemDrill ("we", "us", meaning Swift Mart LLC, doing business as GenChemDrill) collects and why. The short version: we collect very little, we never see your card number, we use Meta's ad-measurement pixel (you can turn it off), and we do not sell your data.
Exam reminders
This optional service is separate from trial emails and saving your progress. It is for people aged 16 and over. We collect the email address you provide, your optional exam date, the scheduled reminder date and time, and a record of your consent: its wording and version, when you gave it, and when you confirmed it. We use these only to send one confirmation link and one requested study reminder with a link to a free practice question. We do not send study tips or offers or add you to a marketing list.
We rely on your consent. The reminder checkbox starts unchecked. You must confirm by email within 24 hours before we schedule a reminder. Consent is optional and does not affect access to free practice or start a trial. Trial emails are a separate list with their own choices, described below. Choose an exam date 4–90 days away for a reminder 3 days before it, or leave the date blank for a reminder 3 days after confirmation. Reminders are scheduled for 11 a.m. Eastern Time; delivery can be delayed by the email provider.
You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in either email, without signing in, paying or giving a reason. This stops pending reminders and deletes your reminder record within 24 hours. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out with consent. Unsubscribe links remain usable for at least 30 days after a message. A new request requires fresh consent and confirmation.
Unconfirmed records expire after 24 hours and are deleted within the following 24 hours. Confirmed records, including the address, optional exam date and consent evidence, are deleted within 24 hours after the reminder is sent or you unsubscribe, and no later than 7 days after the scheduled reminder if delivery fails. We delete consent evidence with the reminder record. Nonidentifying total counts may remain.
Reminder records, including your email address, are held separately in private Vercel storage, and we use them only to contact you about your reminder. Resend, our existing email delivery provider, processes the recipient address and message to deliver these two emails; we do not send it your optional exam date. Resend stores email content and delivery logs in the United States for 30 days on its standard plans, and backups persist for 7 days. These provider records are separate from our shorter-lived reminder records. We do not use email open or click tracking for this service.
Vercel and Resend may process information in the United States. Their data processing agreements incorporate EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum for applicable international transfers. You can read the Vercel and Resend agreements using the links below. Reminder consent is not consent to unrelated marketing or advertising.
The reminder page runs no advertising or analytics scripts. We do not sell or share reminder information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or attach names, trial or customer identifiers, referral data or browsing activity to reminder records. For abuse prevention, we briefly retain keyed codes derived from the email address and request IP address, and request counts; these are separate from reminder records and deleted within 48 hours. The raw IP address is not stored in these records. Standard hosting security logs may include IP addresses and browser information, as described elsewhere in this policy.
Use the Contact details below to request access, correction or deletion, or to exercise applicable privacy rights, without losing access to free practice. Email requests follow our existing response timeline, typically within 30 days. Where applicable you may request restriction of processing, object, request a portable copy, or complain to your data protection authority. The operator and contact details in this policy apply to this service.
Provider details: Vercel DPA, Resend DPA, Resend retention.
What we collect
- Email address and payment details, only if you buy. When paid plans are offered, checkout happens on a page hosted by our payment processor (Stripe). Stripe collects your email, card and billing details. We never see or store your card number. From Stripe we receive your email, a customer ID, what you bought, the amount, the date, and whether the payment or subscription is active, cancelled or refunded. GenChemDrill has no accounts or sign-in: paid access is confirmed against your Stripe purchase. If you buy a bundle, the other sites it covers, which we also run, check the same Stripe purchase to open your access.
- Progress and settings in your browser, and an anonymous trial record. Lesson progress, practice results, your theme and any access token are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. We don't receive your progress or results. If you buy, your browser sends the access token to our server to confirm paid access. Clearing your browser data removes all of these. When you start the 3-day free trial, we keep a trial record in private storage with our host, Vercel, tied to a random device ID that is also kept in your browser and in a first-party cookie (
gc_tdev). It holds only the trial start and end dates, and no name, email or IP address. We use it so a returning visitor keeps the same trial end date and gets one free trial per device. Clearing browser data does not delete this server record; you can ask us to delete it (see Your choices and deletion requests). - To spot accidental duplicate free trials, when you start a trial we keep a short-lived marker made of one-way scrambled codes of your IP address and browser. They can't be turned back into your IP address, they change every day, and they aren't stored in your trial record. A marker is used for 15 minutes and is then deleted automatically the next time a trial starts.
- Technical logs. Our host (Vercel) may record standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept under Vercel's own retention rules.
- Where you came from (first-touch source). On your first visit we store any campaign tags in the link (for example
utm_source,utm_campaign), which ad network a click came from (not the click ID itself), the page you landed on and the site that sent you. These stay in your browser for 30 days so the app can show the matching welcome. If you buy, we also attach them, with a random ID for that browser session, to your purchase record at Stripe, so we can tell which ads or sites bring in customers. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we don't store these tags. - Your email, only if you choose to give it. The 3-day free trial needs no email, account or card. During the trial you may see a "Get trial reminders" box, and when the trial ends we may ask once if you want to link an email to your trial. Both are optional and can be skipped. If you enter an email, we store the email address, which box you used, the dates you entered it, the start and end dates of your free trial on that browser, the last day you opened GenChemDrill there, and which trial emails we have sent you in GenChemDrill's own list. The list is stored privately on our server, in private storage with our host (Vercel). We keep the address itself, not a scrambled version, because we need it to contact you. Our email provider (Resend) receives your address when we send you an email. To note that day, your browser keeps a first-party cookie (
gc_ek) holding a scrambled code made from your email, not the address itself. Your browser keeps only a yes/no flag that an email was given. - <span id="comeback-offer"></span>One discount offer (optional). When you save your email for a free trial, you can also tick "Email me once with a discount offer if I haven't been back 7+ days after my trial ends." It is a separate box, it starts unticked, and ticking it is not needed for anything else. If you tick it, we add to your saved-email record that you ticked the box, when, and the version of the wording you saw, plus the calendar day (in UTC) of your most recent visit to GenChemDrill in a browser where you saved that email: the day only, with no time, pages, IP address or device details (this is in addition to the last-visit date described above). We use these only to send you one email with 30% off the first month of the $10 monthly plan, 7 to 30 days after your trial ends, and only if you haven't been back for at least 7 days. We send it at most once, and not at all if you have bought GenChemDrill (we check with Stripe first) or unsubscribed. Your email address, that visit day and the last-visit date are then deleted 30 days after your trial ends, in our daily cleanup (usually within a day), instead of on the 24-month schedule below, or right away if you unsubscribe. Entering the same address again later, or starting another trial, doesn't extend this. The record that you ticked the box and when stays with the scrambled code and dates described below. The offer link carries campaign tags so we can count visits from it; we don't track whether you open the email. If the offer isn't available when you save, we tell you and store nothing new. If you don't tick the box, nothing new is stored.
- Our own visit counts. We keep basic first-party usage counts: your browser stores a random ID (no name, email or other personal details) in local storage so we can count visits, including repeat visits, and which steps were used (for example "trial started" or "checkout opened"). Our server stores only the counted step, the campaign tags, phone or desktop, whether you used an in-app browser, whether you are a returning visitor, where a trial was started, time spent on the landing page, and a daily scrambled version of that ID, never your email, IP address or the raw ID. It isn't shared with advertisers. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we don't create it or send these events. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, our hosting provider's privacy-friendly analytics, to count page views; it does not use cookies and does not identify you. A small log of in-app events is also kept in your browser for troubleshooting and never leaves your device.
- Advertising measurement (Meta: Facebook and Instagram ads).
We use a Meta pixel (which may set cookies) to improve the site and measure our ads. It records visits, Chapter 1 starts, views of the plans, trial starts, when an email was saved (not the address), checkout starts and completed purchases (including value and currency) and sends this usage information to Meta. We turn off automatic form collection and never send names, email addresses or card details to the pixel.
Visitors in the United States: the pixel runs when the page loads. You can opt out at any time with "Your privacy choices" at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved on this device. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out and the pixel does not load. Opting out does not affect study access.
Visitors outside the United States, including Canada, and visitors whose location we can't determine: the pixel stays off unless you choose Allow on the banner. You can change your choice at any time with "Your privacy choices".
To decide which choice applies, we use the country that our hosting provider (Vercel) estimates from your connection. We do not store your IP address or location for this. The pixel is also turned off for automated visits, QA visits and preview pages.
- Trial and sale alerts. When a free trial starts or a purchase is made, our server sends us (the GenChemDrill team) a short internal alert with the plan, any purchase amount, the date and the campaign tags. It does not include your name, email, IP address or card details.
How we use it
We use your information to provide the lessons, unlock paid access, process refunds and cancellations, tell you about billing events, answer support requests, keep the site secure, and fix problems.
If you saved your email during the free trial, we use it to contact you about your trial: up to two emails (a check-in on day 2, unless you've already come back, and a reminder in the last day of the free trial), never after you buy or unsubscribe. Before sending, we check with Stripe whether that address has already bought GenChemDrill. If you save your email after the trial has ended, you won't get these trial emails, but we may use it to help you find GenChemDrill again (for example, a short note with a link back). If you also ticked the separate discount-offer box, we may send you one email with 30% off your first month, as described under "One discount offer" in What we collect.
We use campaign tags, our own visit counts and the Meta pixel only to measure which ads work; we don't build advertising profiles about you.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run GenChemDrill: Stripe (payments, and checking whether a saved email has already bought), Meta (ad measurement, as described above), Vercel (hosting, Web Analytics, and private storage of the optional email list, trial records, visit counts and exam-reminder records) and Resend (delivering email to people who gave us their address, including the one discount-offer email and requested exam-reminder emails; see Exam reminders). They process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. We may disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information, including your email. Apart from the ad-measurement events described above, we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Emails saved in the app. We store your email privately on our server to contact you about your trial. The end of your trial does not remove it. It stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, and it is deleted automatically 24 months after you last entered it if neither happens first. If you ticked the discount-offer box, your address and last-visit dates are instead deleted 30 days after your trial ends, in the daily cleanup (usually within a day). Unsubscribing removes the address, trial dates and last-visit dates right away. We keep only a scrambled code, the dates and which emails we sent, so you are not emailed again, and these are deleted on the same 24-month schedule.
- Exam-reminder emails. We store these privately on our server only to contact you about your reminder. They are deleted within 24 hours after the reminder is sent or you unsubscribe, and no later than 7 days after the scheduled reminder if delivery fails. Unconfirmed requests are deleted within 48 hours (see Exam reminders).
- Trial records. These have no automatic deletion date. We keep them until you ask us to delete them, so one device keeps one free trial.
- Visit counts. These have no automatic deletion date. They can't be traced back to you.
- Billing records. These are kept at Stripe as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Anything else. Other data we hold about you is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can clear local progress any time by clearing your browser's site data. Every trial email, discount-offer email and exam-reminder email has an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. To ask us to remove your email or other information we hold about you, or to see what it is, email support@outermilelabs.com. Your trial record holds no name or email, so we can only find it with the device ID stored in that browser. Write to us before you clear your browser data and we'll help you find it. We will respond within a reasonable time, and typically within 30 days. Some records (for example payment records) may need to be kept by law, and Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
Children
GenChemDrill is for people age 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it. The optional exam-reminder service is only for people aged 16 and over (see Exam reminders).
Security
Payments use Stripe's hosted checkout over HTTPS. Saved emails, trial records and reminder records are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is little to lose.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
